I think you should just call me being you're so damn close. Tell me why it's worth it. I'm on the fence on this one........and confused about how much HP it adds, whether takes away torque (i'm guessing not), whether it appreciably affects mileage, etc.
TRD makes the exhaust out of aluminized 409 stainless steel which is more resistant to rust. The horsepower is usually 8-12 horsepower and works well with high flow intake. It sounds louder, throaty, and looks cool. Aftermarket companies make similar exhaust that you put on and pay around the same price. Borla actually made the TRD exhaust for Toyota Tundra. If you shop around the prices are similar. If you decide on the TRD Port Option you have warranty from Toyota. Usually parts are delayed at the dealers, so if you want one, try and order it when you place your order or reserve an incomming FJ. Usually Toyota doesn't give you the option of TRD except after delivery so embrace it as a good thing. AND if you don't want it, don't get it or worry about it!
