Did I miss something? So what if their first trucks are loaded, that isn't a huge surprise?
Exactly! I don't see any of the "Extra Mile" packages or the "Luster Package" added to his FJ. Here in the GST region you almost always get saddled with that worthless crap.

Re: Fj Pricing(here It Is!)

Fraid that's where it's going on the high end. Can you throw in a GPS at that price? Actually I'm not going to pay for a TRD exhaust, or a skid plate, and the security system is overpriced. So remove a couple of the things that I'm not paying for and I'll buy it for closer to $31K than $32K. Stick me with anything else and I'll buy an Element.
You sales guys are just drooling over MSRP for this truck aren't you aren't you.
TRD Performance Exhaust .................... 550.00
All Weather Mats & Cargo Mat (5pc Set) ..... 179.00
Security RS3200 Plus with Proximity Sensor . 479.00
Armrest ................................................. 125.00
Convenience Package2 (Rock Rails, Skid Plate). 1000.00

$179 mats, $125 armrest? decorative skidplate, $550 exhaust- I don't think these are port installed options- these are dealer added accessories- ways to make over MSRP. MSRP on the rig, plus MSRP on everything we can find to add to it. How much money would you estimate the dealership makes on the above described vehicle? If my dealer presents me with this vehicle at "MSRP", I'll let you know, because it'll be available.

Re: Fj Pricing(here It Is!)

Yikes, thanks for the info... I think the sticker shock is due to my misguided expectation that this car would still be in the realm of the sub $30000 range with options...

Re: Fj Pricing(here It Is!)

Just because WE don't want that crap doesn't mean that others won't. We all knew the first FJs were gonna come in loaded to the gills with what to us is worthless crap. Early adopters get stuck with the smegma. Me I'll wait until they can get me what I want - 5L, 3T, & DH - I'm not so sure I'll even accept CQ anymore.

You have been misguided, by Toyota. They have been saying "well equiped for less than $30K" ever since pricing was released.
Well equiped is a subjective term.

Sweet! You got a $25 discount on destination! See, there's one below MSRP.

Slab - settle down.

This guy is just posting what he has in his invoice puter, no gouging or non-port installs (undercoating, seat protectant etc).
I guess if this is just a list, it's fine. If there is no negotiating the carpet mat type accessories down or away, it's a rip-off. Mats certainly don't fall into the "port install" category.

Everything listed in his post are port installed accessories. Just check the list you provided us.

Dealer Accessories Update

maybe your saying that the dealer told them to "load it up", but again this isn't a huge surprise. Especially if he didn't have a buyer already lined up.
