If Bostonian doesn't, I might take a ride up there after work. Hell, I even LIVE in Lancaster! Stay tuned.
Hoping you make it there and take pix. Got word for Woburn Toyota that my FJ won't arrive until end of April. But they'll have a few in early April in other configurations. Have fun. I'm jealous - like Bostonian I'm a bit under the weather having caught the flu bug from my daughter.

Re: Take delivery of a Titanium FJ----today!

I just got a call from Wagner as well. Too bad it's an AT. I live in Berlin which is next door to Lancaster. I mite have to take a spin up there to check out what might have been.

Re: Take delivery of a Titanium FJ----today!

Well, I made it to Wagner in Lancaster. They "HAD" an FJC there but it was delivered by mistake. It is now on a car carrier heading back to NJ.
However, I did get there in time to check it out. No pixs because it was pouring rain. Trust me, it doesn't look any different than what we've seen thus far. I sat in it and it's awesome. Plenty of room up front. With the drivers seat all the way back accessing the rear seat was easy. I was pleasantly surprised. The roof rack is one serious piece of equipment. Very sturdy!!!
Did I mention that I got to drive it about 8 miles??? Awesome!Awesome!Awesome! The engine is really quiet. Pickup was great! Visibility out the front was fine. The back was fine to. I drive a truck and have to use side mirrors, so visibility on the sides was adaquate.
It was silver AT. It had UP#2 , with tow hitch. There were no rock rails or running boards.
Needless to say, this is one mean machine. Thank god I had Depends on!!

I just called the dealership and spoke with the sales manager. When I asked about the truck he told me it was already sold. I asked if I could stop by and take a look at it and he told me it was already delivered.

Something sounds fishy, I wonder why he gave me a different reason.

Awesome Other1! I just got back from Wagner myself and here's what the sales lady (lindsey) said: They delivered it this morning and the same driver came back in the afternoon and said Toyota made a mistake, that they will not deliver it or any others until release date, 3/27. Makes me wonder about mine at Harr Toyota that's due in this week. I called my guy at Harr and he said that's the first he heard of it and that he will confirm with his Toyota rep when he talks to him tonight and get back to me. What's up with that? Has anyone here or does anyone else know of anyone who's already got theirs yet? And I'm not talking about dealers but actual consumers.

We might all be waiting a few more weeks. Argh!

Re: Take delivery of a Titanium FJ----today!

Other1, Is it as smooth as a 4runner or does it bounce around more? I have a 4runnner now and I'd be more than happy if it's similar....sales lady at Wagner said it was. I'm jealous!

I'm having the same experience with my salesperson, too. Whatever information the dealer has available to it shows the vehicle being delivered this week, and they haven't heard anything different. He said that if Toyota decides to hold the vehicles until a specific release date, they can hold them at the last stop before the dealer (here in the Chicago area, it's a rail yard in West Chicago from which car-carrier trucks deliver the vehicles directly to the dealer lots), but he hasn't heard one way or the other whether Toyota is doing that with the FJC.

Re: Take delivery of a Titanium FJ----today!

Well, I've never driven a 4Runner so I can't compare them. I only drove it on the road. It was real quiet, real solid feeling. I banged a u-turn and it seemed to have a tight turning radius. Overall, I was really impressed. It looked awesome!!!

Re: Take delivery of a Titanium FJ----today!

The salesmanager at Wagner asked me if I had A build sheet with my name on it as well as a VIN??? I have an order with another Toyota dealer. If I preferenced my FJC in January, I should have this in hand. I do but without a VIN. Does anyone here have their VIN on their preferenced FJ???
