Good day to be home...

So I am off this week...watching the snow pile up outside. still snowing pretty good, but the wind slowed...When it stops I may have to take a drive to the store....yeah to the store...that's it...

Yes I know for those of you upstate and in the great white north this is nothing...

Re: Good day to be home...

Great week to be off. I am holding out for another 3 weeks while parts dribble in then taking a week off to do all my mods at once. Wish I had this week off though. Was thinking about taking a ride on the Mohawk Trail this weekend. Would love to drive around on the slushy stuff up there.

Today is a very dark beer day. Something on the lines of a heavy wheat ale I think. Hmmm, sounds like I need to take a quick trip down the road.

Enjoy your time off.

Snowing off and on most of the day here, but nothing has stuck. I'm home most days whether I'm working or not; still love it.

Re: Good day to be home...

We got about 5-6 inches of snow, 1-2 inches of ice and then another 2 inches of snow on top of it all. Just found out we're off school again tomorrow. Looks like it'll be a short Easter break for us!

Re: Good day to be home...

Could you fill up the back of the fj with some snow and bring it down with ya when you come. If you get a big roll of plastic and keep all the windows open it may make the drive.lol Sunday looks like it's do able , i was suppose to go to assitegue for the wekend but plans have changed . I also was told about some mud trails across the bridge on the way to the base if you want to explore .
