Well to tell you the truth I've been just lurking on the forum for quite a while and today I finally decided to come out of the woodwork. I got my voodoo blue last February and love the hell out of it! I got the ATRAC switch and I've been wanting to put a lift and other add-ons to it but lost my job a few months back and can't afford upgrades now but I am interested in doin some trails with my stock fj. We should try to plan some runs in the near future.

I've been doing some "offroading" around here on logging access roads, closed seasonal roads on and around the moraines, and other obstacles - ditches, rock piles, etc. The areas to go offroad are pretty slim pickin's though. That said, I've found the stock FJ to be more than capable offroad if driven carefully - don't know beyond this yet b/c I've only had my FJ since Thanksgiving and have
only driven it carefully offroad. I've been putting together the basic necessary equipment - Hi-Lift, compressor, fire extinguisher, tools, CB, etc., for offroading and am designing and will be building a front tube bumper over the next few months. I don't plan on any major suspension mods other than more protection -sway bar slip reinforcement, skid plates, etc. However, I will definitely be getting some more aggressive tires when I can afford them - and maybe a small lift to accommodate some bigger tires.
Yes we should definitely consider a group excursion. Is anybody from the region planning to go to the Rausch Park, PA Easter FJ weekend? I am. Maybe we could meet up and convoy down there together.
