Where to go for a body mount chop? DC/MD/VA

Anyone know of a place that definitely does this and does it reasonably well in this area? I'd rather not have to drive to the places mentioned in New Jersey in the other thread.

Hey whats up. Yea man I should be up and running doing the body mount chops soon. I'm waiting on Roberts Oxygen to deliver some gas for my welder. As soon as that happens, I'll be up and running.

Good deal, let me know when you are ready. My 285/70-R17 BFG ATs do not run with my suspension, but I will be adding some 285/75-R16 STTs on steelies soon and expect to rub.

Roberts already gets some of my money for CO2

Re: Where to go for a body mount chop? DC/MD/VA

I got mine done by my regular mechanic about a week ago. I was not sure if he would want to even try it but I finally asked him and he said he would be happy to if I could bring him some pictures. I printed out the pictures from Dragon's thread and he duplicated the work exactly.

Here are some pictures (sorry, didn't clean the area before I took them):

The place I had it done is White's Automotive in Glenn Dale, MD. (301) 262-1327. The guy who did the work is named Chris and is someone I have known for 7 years (he has been my regular mechanic for my past 3 vehicles, he used to keep my old Bronco running) and my wife has known for about 20. The only downside is that it wasn't that cheap, about $200 for the work, but Chris does very good work. He also put on my Donahoe suspension a couple of months ago and the work was flawless.
