3" Lift Kit and Parking Garage - DC

Anyone here has a 3" lift kit, that parks their FJ in the parking garage in DC? I am debating getting a kit thinking that the FJ won't clear.

I'm not in DC but I can tell you that it does cause some problems here in Dallas. Your FJ will sit at 83" (6'11'') after the lift. So I park in 7' garages, but most of Dallas are 6'10 so it is inconvenient. Keep an eye out with those measurement and see how it effects you.

I can only say that mine still fits into the one at work...barely. I had to move my Hi-Lift mounts to a lower bar on the roofrack, however. I am running Donahoes with 285s.

I installed the OME lift, and it's about the same as the others listed here. I sit just below 7', so I always look for garages that are 7' and above. This caused a bit of a problem this winter with my snowboard racks installed. Try driving into a parking garage, having to back out, take the snowboards and racks off in a driving blizzard, and then having four people stand on your step-tubes to get you low enough to get into the garage.
