NYC Snow Storm

Once again this morning, the FJ proved itself as an ideal NYC vehicle. As impractical as it seems to have an SUV of any sort in NYC (especially parking on the streets), days like today reinforce the fact that the FJ is exempt from that stereotype. When I was clearing off the several inches of snow that had accumulated during the night, a cop crawled by in his cruiser with his window down and told me that he wished he had my car for days like today. When I went to park it again, the only spot on the whole block was quickly being filled with snow by a building super, shoveling the walk. There must have been over 18 inches of snow in the spot, which was a tight fit to begin with. There were probably only 6 inches of room on either end. I'm sure that I don't even need to tell you how easily I maneuvered into that spot without even playing bumper tag. I freaking love this whip.

Re: NYC Snow Storm

Ahhh! NYC in the winter. I totally miss home sometimes. I know exactly what you are describing. NYC can be beautiful in the winter, at the same time it can be a pain in the arse. I bet the FJ does pretty well, it does well here in some Euro streets.
