Re: Beach Tomorrow

Is the Suffolk County 4x4 permit a fishing permit similar to the NYS beach permit, or is it for four wheeling off road??

Re: Beach Tomorrow

Suffolk county permit has access to other spots that the state permit will not

Smiths Point allows access to beach during the day for all (Cruising, Sunning, ect) Be careful not to run anyone over!!
After dusk you need the fishing permit that you get also with the 4x4 permit and must have all the gear and be fishing

There is a trail that goes from Smith Point park to Moriches inlet

If its nice out on Sat I may run out there to get mine
I do have to run out to West Hampton sometime this week for work so if I have time when I do that I may stop and get one then

I want to spend some time on Sat wiring up the KC Daylighters I just mounted on the ARB Bumper (weather permitting)

For updates on Outer Beach conditions and other info Suffolk County Government - Park Notices and Information

Take a look on google earth
We should plan a get together
