Lift Install in Maryland or General Area
Anyone know of a good place to get a lift installed? I am located in Washington county MD (western MD) and not too far from the Martinsburg, WV area or Chambersburg and Waynesboro, PA areas. Or if there is someone in or around these areas that has installed a few and willing to do one more at a reasonable price plus beer I'm up for that too. I am getting the OME lift. Thanks!

Check out your local club at
FJBruisers.org - Home .
There's always someone willing to help out and/or point you in the right direction.

Re: Lift Install in Maryland or General Area
Volley, I'm from Chambersburg, PA and am picking my FJ up tomorrow. I've never done a suspension on a FJ before but have on other vehicles and would be willing to give a extra hand if needed for your lift. Also, if you ever want to get together or know any good trails let me know.

Re: Lift Install in Maryland or General Area
Hi Ben,
Oh bummer! I just forked over the cash to have the lift professionally installed. I have done a couple on other vehicles too but always had help and the use of someone else's tools (huge help!). I am thinking about attempting my own UCAs install in the next few days. Just gotta see what additional tools I may need to get. Ever do those before?

No, I've never done them before. I probably couldn't help too much besides be and extra set of hands on that, but if i'm free I could still help some.
Now I guess I'll have to reverse my way of thinking cause all my other cars/trucks have gotten CLOSER to the ground instead of further away.

Re: Lift Install in Maryland or General Area
how about these guys:
OK Auto, 4wd & Tire
It's a drive but they're pros - they've done more than a few FJC lifts

Re: Lift Install in Maryland or General Area
As an FYI - I had my lift installed by the guys at Iron Pig in VA. Worth the short drive IMO.
