Hey all,

I am head down to Maryland, the OC area this week. Anyone know of any parks or trails to do some legal wheeling?

Thanks!

You can drive on the beach at asseteague (spelled wrong). But I think you need to get a permit.

Nice beach, you drive on it, build campfire, drink, fish and swim. They have campgrounds there as well. Haven't been there in years, not sure where you would find info, check online or others may be able to help.

we used to drive out on the beach with a group of about 20, make a fire, cook out and drink beer. late at night most would go home, that lived local. Rest of us would sleep on the beach. Your not allowed to sleep on the beach though, so rangers would come by on atv and wake us up at like 6am.

Careful to read signs in parking lot. some parking lots do not allow overnight parking. I didn't see sign cause we got there at night and I got a ticket once.

Overall great area to hang out, watch out the ponies bite!
