There is nothing in Eastern, MA. The closest thing which is more a romp in the woods, Freetown-Fall River State Forest. Otherwise southern NH & class VI roads.

Hey Ruebarb,

New user in Lowell area, close to NH. Would you be able to point me to where some of the easier open trails or roads are you mentioned in southern NH? Appreciate it. Need to practice some, learn to get use to the FJ from an older 94 Toy pick up!

Cheers

Capt.Rick, I might have time to take you on some moderate/hard trails Saturday afternoon, if your willing to come up to NH.
These are some of the trails you would of run if you came up for VoltsandBolts summit get together.

Re: boston area

Thanks you guys for the Exploring NH link. I will join on sometime this week and hopefully get out with you both. I assume that since your on this forum, that the group is "FJ friendly"? I know there is a rivalry between Jeep and Toyota, just want to be sure it's welcome for everyone!

I was planning on heading out to the Trail Teams meeting in VT. I know there are nice trails of various ratings there, so looking forward to finding some closer to home with gas bouncing around!

Thanks again

The site is open to all vehicles and all wheelers and we do maintain that, along with a family friendly atmosphere. There is a jeep vs toyota rivarly, but as long as it's keeped friendly we don't interfere. Personally I think it's funny and I do love wheeling with jeeps, they are one of the few vehicles that can actually keep up with me

I haven't done crap since May, absolutely nothing, I officially have no life. Hopefully by November work will slow down. Been rare if I have had time to check the forums or sleep.

I'll be back for more runs in the future.
