what to do first

Hey guys and girls just got a 08 sun fusion I love the fj just think I need to do a couple of mods for the back trails of vermont and newhampshire so couple of questions.

1. what is a good mud and snow tire stock size (not enough money for a lift yet.)

2.whats a good winch bumper and brush guard to put on fj

and any other thoughts of what I should add to my wish list

Thanks,
Derek

BFG MT KM2 265/70R17...they fill the wheel well a ton more than the dunflops

I wouldn't go with a brush guard, I'd pony up for a new bumper, Demello, etc.

Do you have rock rails/sliders?

Sliders are a biggie!

And if you are going to get a bumper you'll want to consider some kind of lift to allow for the extra weight. And with the weight you'll probably want to looking to cat-back exhaust and a cold air intake (CAI) to boost your horsepower and help with MPG.

...and now you've caught the mod bug. Welcome to the club!

As far as tires go you can also check out firestone destination m/t
Firestone Destination M

You can see how well they rate on tirerack link above and read others reviews. Several members of forum have them and love them.

I am looking to get a set in nov, can't wait!!

The very first thing you should do is seek out a low interest credit card with a $20K limit on it and go from there! Welcome and enjoy the ride.

Re: what to do first

i would say tires first then rock rails. I wouldnt get firestone mts people had some tire lugs falling off, i had this same issue with light off roading and only 14k on them but others might tell you they had better experience im just stating my experience with them was not good. Take slithers advise and invest in a nice credit card because once you start its hard to stop.
