Re: The Wave Back in OR....

Friday night: Heading to Old Market Pub, pass a FJ who was stopped in the turn lane. Both windows down. I do a big wave. The punk just stairs at me.

Sunday night: In my GF's Subaru merging on 217 S from Greenberg. We need to merge into traffic and do so in front of a Black Diamond. Guy speeds up and flashes his brights. Ass.

I guess we are out of the nice enthusiast buying period and into the jack-ass period... Sad.

Re: The Wave Back in OR....

Good luck getting a wave in SoCal. People are too busy on cell phones or stuck in their materialistic world. (Isn't that a song???? Hmmmmm)

LOL!

My FJ will have bluetooth soon since TigerGPS finally shipped my Nuvi 660. I just love needless gadgets. My biggest weakness is getting lost though, so I really do need one. I swear, I nearly need to print out Mapquest to find the toilet.

I haven't waved at an FJ in a long time. I have become the assh#t I used to complain about.

Thumbs up Re: The Wave Back in OR....

I say we just adopt the Adventure Rider "salute" (middle finger). That way if we get flipped off by another FJer its a compliment. Think: FJ secret society.

Re: The Wave Back in OR....

I actually got my very first wave back today after about thirty tries!! Today in PDX - I-5/Tualatin exit overpass. It was a pretty lame wave on my part, but it actually got a wave back. Almost couldn't shift right from shock. Whoever you were - a Sunfusion FJ - thanks for restoring my faith a little.
