Anyone looking for a test drive? OR/WA border

I was down visiting the inlaws this weekend and the wife found a Toyota dealer with a demo FJ in Gresham OR. It's a yellow auto CQ with aluminum wheels. The people are nice but they will get a little frustrated if you tell them you already have one on order at another dealer. Ask for Mark P. Helminiak (aka the salesman in the red hat!). Didn't know much about the FJ, but he was a nice guy.

I think he was saying they were 90-120 days out on orders for the FJ.

I got a call from Beaverton Toyota this afternoon saying they had a Black Cherry 6-speed available for demos. It was up for sale, so may be gone by now...

The Yellow one in Gresham is sold. Was told it was sold to someone who didn't want MT and didn't want yellow, but didn't want to wait either.

Ha Ha, I also got a call from Beaverton today form Dennis? That black cherry is a MT as well, otherwise I would've test driven it. Too bad..

There are more of you OR buyers out there than I thought....

Gresham already sold the yellow at cq? Wow that must have been right after we test drove it. It already had like 300 something miles on it.

No sorry for the confusion. The yellow one at Gresham Toyota is not sold. It is a demonstrator only. They are taking orders.

Ron Tonkin in Portland had a yellow MT that sold in less than 24hrs. I am new to these parts and thought I was in Gresham. But I was at Ron Tonkin, technically in Portland. Again, sorry for the confusion. I was there at Gresham toyota from 10am-about 2pm. I was the asian man in the black hat with the big black F-150 parked next to it. I saw several people checking it out and thought surely one of them had to be on this forum..

We were there between 2 and 3pm, driving a white Xterra (my dad's until we get our FJ) with the hot blonde wife.

I can't wait to get mine!!!! My dealer is trading. It should be here by this weekend!!!
