Come on out to the Horn Rapids ORV Park for the USSBA Jet Sprint Boat Race on Saturday night, June 16th!! Gates open at 6pm. Qualifying will be underway when you arrive. See racing under the lights for the first time!!! If you have never been to a Sprint Boat event, you are in for the experience of a lifetime!!!

In addition, I will be making a pre-run of the Juniper Dunes area for a possible August 18th Run and Show for the Northwest FJ Cruiser Club.

Originally I was going to run at Horn Rapids, but they have gone commerical and the prices are ridiculous.

I have to say I had no idea what to expect going to watch these boats run, and was extremely glad I went. My whole family is hooked and planning on going to at least another event this summer. If you are into motorsports of any kind I would recommend coming out and experiencing them for yourselves.

Although I wasn't able to meet up with Jim, I too went and checked out Juniper Dunes, pretty cool place.

Pretty fun stuff! Glad you were able to make it.

The NWFJCC is planning an August 18/19 run to see the boats, show off our FJ's at the track and run at Juniper Dunes. Overnight camping at the track will be free. I will have more details soon.

We are also planning a revisit to the back trails at Stevenson in July. Now that the snow has melted we can get much further back in. Lots of lakes and trails back in there.
