The only thing mia was the TRD otherwise, great vid!
Thanks, but I agree... there was alot MIA, that's what happens when you split the group into two (we were just too big of a group to do one trail at a time). I was also in the middle of my pack, so I really only shot the same 3 or 4 vehicles out on trail. That's why its good that a majority of people bring cameras. This vid was just from my little port hole view of the ride.

I've never met anyone I didn't like since getting involved with these FJ trail runs. Good people!

Did I mention Billybong has balls of brass?

Thanks, but I just like to use what Toyota has given me!

Your photo/video skills are unsurpassed, thanks for documenting one of the best Father's Day ever.

Lookin' forward to the next time, maybe down here at Tillamook State Forest.

Take care all-Bill

More great pics/vids. Thanks to the photographers and videographers for capturing the moments. It was also nice meeting so many new people. Great to be able to drive with a group to see examples of how to do it, how not to do it and, if necessary, how to fix it. That shock sure looks unsightly.

DR

BTW, I know that disabling DRLs is all the rage (though I don't really see why unless you need to be able to sneak in/out of somewhere or something like that). Regardless, I think headlights on in photos looks a little more dynamic on dark days.

Now I can't wait to see this video!!!!!

Thank you Steed for spearheading this day!!!!!

Oly..... Everyone went back to the staging area, ate lunch and then I think took off. I don't know if anyone else did another run.

Rip..... You were standing there when she said that!!!!
My pleasure! Todd, Bernd, Steve and I were set up to do the south loop when Steve/Charlie were called away for a search and rescue at Rainier. Todd Bernd and I attempted to find the south loop but ended up running the north loop again. Marlene drove a portion of it in my rig and did awesome! I was still nervous due to the stumps/trees/rocks looking much closer from the passenger side.....

Jim you would be proud! I even picked up the Miller Beer Can in the picture to leave the trail cleaner than we found it. Brain found a scissor jack too.

Re: Tahuya Fathers Day Meet-Please place pics here

I thought splitting the group was a really good thing. It helped keep the driving to standing around ratio to an acceptable level.

Re: Tahuya Fathers Day Meet-Please place pics here

The picture above in Cassidy's post reminds me very much of the Naches trail.

I ran that several years ago with 31" tires and street pressure (did not know any better) in my '91 4Runner.

Made it all the way through too without one scratch.
Tough trail, I hear it is even more so now do to ruts, as if it did not already have ruts.

Yeah we stopped a number of times and picked up junk. Garbage bag full of junk, beer cans here and there and Bian also found an air compressor

Looks like an awesome time for sure. Great video too! As soon as I have time and get some details on the run, I'll document the run on the website. Email me FJ Steed.

And, an incredible job organizing this run Cassidy. Nicely done. And kudos on leaving the trail cleaner too! I actually did a pre-run at an incredible spot in Eastern WA. More on that in another thread.

I had a GREAT time and so did the wife. We're looking forward to the next outing.

Thanks for the great picture of my FJ by the way.
