Summit goers from the NW, list any spare parts or special tools you are bringing

Summit goers from the NW, list any spare parts or special tools you are bringing

Good idea for those from the area to make a list of spare parts/tools that we all will have with us. This way if someone needs something we have an idea where to look first, this also makes it easier to return/replace what was barrowed. Post up, even if its just basic hand tools again its just best to know we can be available to help each other out if needed.

Metal-tech will have:

Tools:
Trailer and tow rig
Portable welder/drill/sawz-all
Battery charger
Basic hand tools
Floor jack
Jack stands
Set of factory service manuals

Parts:
Front half shaft
Transfer case (I have one not sure if it will go or not)
Battery

I am working on a spare rear 3rd member. (non locked) Need to get front seals R/L in case a half shaft needs swapped. I am also working on a spare set of drive shafts.

Other than the Hi-Lift... I just have recovery strap, basic hand tools, and perhaps most important, a credit card.

The only spare part I have is a spare tire cover in my garage.

Knowing you have a hi-lift is a great resource for when one is needed. Not everyone has one and when that one job comes around needing it you’re the man. Hi-lifts are quite universal sure they can lift up the truck or with some straps winch a truck out but did you know it’s the #1 off road tire tool!? Need to pop a bead and replace a torn out valve stem. The hi-lift will pop the bead in no time. Ok ok and I am sure there might be someone wanting to barrow your Credit card!
