On the way home from Ouray! (+Namechange)

Made it as far as Boise today, but upload speeds still suck so picture posts will have to wait until Tuesday.

I have to start my post count over again since there was no easy way to simply change a forum name. During the course of the event, I realized that using a tweak of my last name needed to die back in highschool where it started. I use Evil Trunk Monkey everywhere else, so now he will join the forum.

Learned a lot in colorado but unfortunately it means I now want to spend more money on serious mods.

Evil Truck Monkey…… I like it! I hear you, I use my on line name since its what I have used for years pre-metal tech. (+ using my shop name just seams too ad like)

Great meeting you and your family at the event! Shoot it took an event 1200 miles away to hook up with some of the NWFJCC!

We are in UT on the way to Nor cal right now. I have to pick up some test parts in Sac town and using the opportunity to visit my 84 yr old grandmother. Back in the shop on Thursday.

Have a safe drive home the rest of the way!

Mark

Quite the side trip you have going there! I was whining about going to Fort Collins to visit my girlfriends brother, that was only a 12 hour sidetrip. Grandma would be a much more worthy visit.

Since I don't have the "family", you probably have me confused with Bernd, a much cooler guy that had the whole fan club with him this trip. He was the one famous for trailering his rig across the country instead of using it as a 4 state bug collecting device like me.

Thanks for supporting this event Mark, as soon as we get home we'll pour some cold one's in our Metal Tech glasses and raise them toward the general direction of Northern California.

Take care of that trailer.....

My bad, still don’t know all the players screen names yet! Enjoy the pint glass!

Yes I to am one of those trailer loaded FJ’s coming home. Na 2x the bugs with a trailer, the tow rig pushes them all up over the trucks cab, perfict hight for the FJC’s windshield on the trailer. Then unlike driving the FJC we never scrap them off so the 108* temp we drove through today bakes them on goooooood!
