If it is on a weekend in EARLY October I think I would enjoy that. I have some serious hunting to do this fall starting around the 15th of October through the end of November so I will be out of commission during that period. I think it might be cool to do some of the sawtooths because I have only ever been up into that area a couple times (and I'm a native Idahoan).
Sounds like fun.

I'm game! It am always out and about anyway and it would be nice to wander the wilds of Idaho with a few new faces.
Have you been to sheep falls on the fall river?
I was there last weekend and it is a great spot. nice little 4x4 trail on the way down to the falls. The problem is, the 4x4 trail is only 2-3 miles long.
I love the spot but the trail isnt very rugged. so scratch that.
Have you heard of Hauns Mill?
One of the guys I work with said its a nice ride with old mines along the trail.
Im just throwing ideas out there. Yellowstone is always nice too but there isnt a whole lot of 4wding in the park.
I am open to anything you guys want to do. From Mild wheeling to wild wheeling.

I took my FJ on quite a few of the trails above the old Haun mining townsite last year...it is a cool place. I think the elevation on the GPS read just over 10,000 feet at one point. I was there the day before on the ATV and just had to take the FJ there the next day.

How far is this place from Leadore?

Just kidding, some light to moderate 4X4 trails would be cool. I hate the prospect of sheet metal damage on a new truck, though plastic parts are expendable.
You guys know the area better than me. The ideas so far sound good. One area of Idaho I've never been is the center running North/South. Looks to be full of forest roads and campsites.
