Greenwater 8-5-07

Braincell and I went up to Greenwater this weekend for a little practice and exploration. I just got my OME medium lift on Saturday and wanted to try it out at the gravel pits. We arrived around 10AM and started home around 7:45PM so it was a pretty full day.

Overall it was a blast and a good opportunity to practice some easy stuff with my truck that's driving a lot differently now but better.

A nice day

Braincell getting a little stuck

Me pulling The Cell loose

Some cool people we ran into including this FJ with 6 inch lift.

I really enjoyed being able to get out and drive my Fj where I could take my time and not hold people up too much as I tried some new things and learned how my rig handled. Braincell did a great job guiding us around through some of the side trails and also did a good job scaring the heck out of his passengers.

Question Re: Greenwater 8-5-07

Great pics TS! So that's what braincell was talking about when he mentioned he was all 4 wheels off, high centered and could almost touch the ground!

Looked like you two had loads of fun, but I have to ask...what IS that thing covering your side panel(s)?

Cool, great pics.
I bet you like the new lift.

We have a run planned for this coming Saturday up around 70 to explore around the Naches entrance.

Your last pic, I have taken many pics in that same place.

Those are Magna Shields Basically magnetic sheets that keep your post run paint buffing to a minium as well as paint scrapes. The owner of the company that makes them posts on here a lot, her name's Ginger and she's a top notch person to deal with. I didn't use them on the last run because we were sticking to the roads.

I was thankful for them when I found myself here...

The new lift is great I could tell the difference as soon as I hit my first bump with it.

I'd like to go Saturday but I won't be off until about 2pm.

One of Braincell's passengers doesn't like heights and was not amused at the sudden drop off on the other side of that bad boy

Oh, you mean this dropoff

Bummer you can not make it this coming Saturday.
I want to see if I can find this place again, it has been awhile since I have been to that part of 70.

Looks like you guys had a lot of fun. By the way, the guy you ran into's name is Kelvin, he recently installed the Pro Comp 6inch lift. One sweet FJ.

Hmmm, those magna shields are very intriguing. How much did they cost you?
