Maybe they are all afraid of your dog.
Oh yeah she's viciously protective, that's why I bring her along whenever I can

Count Draggin' in!

Already have a full tank of fuel. Might as well spend it having fun.

Might not be a bad idea to have some raingear with ya, weather report is 50/50, which is great..........rain means mud! I ate enough dust last run to last me a looooooooooong time.

Lookin' forward to seeing any and all who show.

Count us in!
This way I don't have to wash the truck tomorrow
We live in Tigard area, so we will tag along to Welches also if you don't mind. Let us know where to be and when.

Do you guys have CB's or are we using the handhelds?

I usually use CB channel 4, I think Rick's is working so-so, don't know if fitfuji has one or not, haven't met him yet.

So far 2 from Tigard, I'm in Tualatin, and 1 in Hillsburrito........sounds like a meet somewhere along I-5 would work. Maybe the Tualatin K-Mart parking lot right off the freeway and easy access back on to I-205.

Looking forward to meeting you.

I live in Tualatin so Tualatin K-Mart at 8 am sounds great. I have a CB and I am going to loan Rick my antenna so his will work. I also have 2 way radios so I will bring them too.

Thumbs up Re: Lolo Pass Sunday Aug 19th

Its sooooooooo nice to sleep in, get online and find 2 more folks wanting to join in for the fun! Now I don't even know where Tualatin K-Mart is at, anyone care to give me a quick direction? Wait a minute, I can just google it up and insert it to my Garmin GPS, that's what I bought it for!

I'm going out to get me one of those magnetic antenna today if I can, if not, I may need to borrow your Draggin. Fuji, I appreciate you loaning me your original antenna but that doesn't really work well as much as the external magnetic antenna

See y'all tomorrow!

Re: Lolo Pass Sunday Aug 19th

That's what the FS told me last year, but found most of the areas enroute toward Lost Lake were posted against shooting. The shooting area I'm thinking of is West of Lolo Pass Rd., about 7-8 miles North of 26.

The only regulations specific to use of weapons imposed by the Forest Service is that you cannot discharge a weapon within 150 yards of any structure/development or occupied area, within or into a cave, across or on a road or body of water, or in any manner that endangers a person. You also cannot use any tracer or incendiary ammunition. Forest Service regulations require that you also comply with all State laws regarding the use of firearms while hunting.

I pulled this off the Forest Service website. I was worried there for a moment.

Re: Lolo Pass Sunday Aug 19th

I did not see anything posted where I shoot but I will call the ranger station to double check.

Re: Lolo Pass Sunday Aug 19th

I just spoke to the zigzag ranger station and they said the national rules apply.

She spoke of an area where alot of people go to shoot but you can shoot anywhere you want following the guidelines I mentioned before.
