FJ @ Bonneville...

Friend of mine took his 350Z to Bonneville Salt Flats to see what it could do. It was a very interesting experience with cars, people and the heat of the salt.

Here are some pics which include my FJ pulling the 350Z through the tech line.

Do you guys remember the movie "Independence Day" when they were driving to the air base? It looks just like that at the end of the day as your not allowed to stay on the salt after 8PM. Then everyone has to get in a single file line to cross the water to the two lane road.

Fastest run on the 3Mile course was 167 MPH at this speed the car was getting no traction in the salt and felt like it was floating on the salt.

Only mods to the engine-Injectors, computer and air intake. Lower end is all stock.

Took about an hour with a pressure washer to get the salt off. But, I know I missed some under the FJ.

Thats a lot of salt. I still havent made it out there yet....looks neat though.

It's a program that Comcast has for doing Photo Galleries. It's an okay program.
