Reiter Trails work party this weekend (25-26 september)
We are meeting at the main parking area at 10AM Saturday and again at 9AM on sunday.
Work to be done, closing off some trail bypasses, putting up signs, marking some trails.
Also, one abannonded vehicle recovery, and one boat (yes a boat) to get off of the wall trail.
Any and all that would like to lend a hand are more than welcome. Please bring winches, chainsaws, shovels, axes, and your sunny dispositions.
The more the merrier. Hope to see you there.

Hello chewey46 it appears that you have not posted on our forums in several weeks, why not take a few moments to ask a question, help provide a solution or just engage in a conversation with another member in any one of our forums?

Yes I sure do.
Sorry for the short notice on this work weekend. It's kind of an emergency thing as some folks ruined some sections of trail last weekend.
I'll post up pics of my trip in a minute.

Is this going to supersede the October 7th clean up?

No. The Oct 7th cleanup is just that. Cleaning up trash from the trails.
RTW (Reiter Trail Watch) an organization that was formed to help keep Reiter Trails alive, holds monthly work parties to maintain and repair the trails there. We work with all user groups. ORV and Motorized recreation, hikers, bikers, climbers, equestrians. ETC. We want to keep Reiter a happy place to play for everyone. Right now the RTW group is mainly Motorized users, but the other groups support us as well.
you are more than welcome to take a look at the site.

Unfortunately I could not get out of my other commitments on such short notice. I will be on the October run, it's on my calendar.

No biggie. We had about 30 folks. Broke into two groups. One of them worked on sac-up closing bypasses and doing trail maintenance.
The other group (mine and crash's) got a rolled bronco off the Isabel trail right by rope rocks.
