I might have to hit this after the Tillamook trail ride the last weekend of September!!
I really love the Oregon coastline. It's just beautiful. And after spending one-too-many weekends in the deserts of the Southwestern U.S., I'm ready for some fog!!!!!!

There were several ATVer's out on 4 wheelers and sand rails zooming all over, but so few for a place that big. It was easy to find secluded spots for some experimenting. Don't worry about going alone out there. Just take it slow and have fun. If something does happen, there are usually plenty of offroaders that'll give you a lift back to the parking lot.....which is never too far away at Sand Lake. Unless you're trying some pretty risky stuff, it's all easy fun to be had out there without worry of getting stuck. Just remember to err on the side of caution, and make sure to look ahead for possible problem spots or not so safe conditions.
Sounds like the advice my dad gave my brothers before they started dating....I went there, didn't I?

Wow it looks deserted...is it always like this after Labor Day? I've gone there during the summer on a weekend and the place was packed like sardines!
Also, how did you attach the flag to your FJ bumper?
This was Friday evening after Labor Day weekend. Really not alot of people out at all. Maybe 15 duners out there. The flag is actually sticking out the window from inside the door. Haven't gotten around to figuring out how to mount it on there exactly.
