Re: Tillamook South Fork Road

I guess we don't have to worry about engine bay rips anymore.

I sure am glad you are ok.

Any chance you can go tomorrow?

I can pick you up around 8 am.

Sorry to hear about this Rick.
I hope there are plenty of FJs down your way when it is time to replace yours.
Glad to hear you are OK.

My dealer where I bought mine has quite a few, including some of the special ones listed below.

Will you go for one of the offroad ones that come decked out already with the ARB bumper, winch, OME lift, Pro Comp tire and wheels?
Maybe you can get a discount on one of those special orders since you already have your tires and wheels.
I'm just glad to walk out w/o any broken limbs I've seen the fliers w/ 2 decked out options, not sure which I will go, that'll depend on the bank LOL. IF I can afford the decked out ones, I'll go w/ it, that way if the body rips starts to show on the 08' models, it'll be covered by warranty!

Re: Tillamook South Fork Road

Amazes me that a dented fender totals an FJ. What were the damages as reported by the insurance company that totalled the FJ? The frame must have been fried...

If you want to go to this weekend's event you can ride with my wife and I. We will be there Saturday. PM me and we can hook up.

Talking Re: Tillamook South Fork Road

I can't take the day off for the trail 101 today However, I'm riding w/ Bernd tomorrow for the event since I've already paid and decide to substitute his rig for mine and I'll ride shotgun w/ him.

As for that dent, if you really look close, it broke some of the arm thingy in half, bent some of the frame and 1/4 of the body are crushed Now I can say "top that" when someone said what have you done to your FJ lately?
