Browns Camp OHV Work Party Oct. 13th

Just a FYI for everyone..

Attention all OHV users! Oregon Dept. of Forestry will be sponsoring an OHV Volunteer Work Party on Saturday October 13th on Spaur Creek Trail in the Jordan Creek Area.

Work includes brushing, rocking, construction of rocked stream fords, improving trail entrance at the east end, and other general maintenance to get the trail ready for winter. Rock will be staged at both ends of the trail.

Meet at Jordan Creek Staging area at 10:00 AM for assignments and safety briefing. The plan is to work until 3:30PM and then wrap up.

Bring lunch, water, rain gear, gloves, boots, and your favorite trail tool.

ODF will supply Macleod s, pulaskis, hazel hoes, shovels, loppers, folding saws, and 2 Polaris 6 x 6 for hauling rock and a mini excavator for loading rock.

We need experienced quad operators to drive the 6 x 6 s loaded with rock.

My father-in-law just had shoulder surgery. We are schedule to visit that weekend so we will not be able to attend the work party. I just thought I would throw this out there in case some one was free that weekend.
