Just got word from my new employer and there is a possibility of me getting transferred to Anchorage. They are paying to transport my vehicles but I was planning on waiting until August to by an FJ.
Will Anchorage's one dealer have me by the wallet or
Should I buy in the lower 48 and ship it?
(I have e-mailed the Anchorage asking for a commitment to MSRP, disclosure of doc fees and such, and no extra accessories that would inflate price)

Nye Frontier Toyota has an excellent reputation for service. Initially they wanted $2500 over MSRP for the FJ I wanted, so I bought mine in Fairbanks.
Since then, Nye has been selling FJs at MSRP. I wouldn't hesitate to buy your new Toyota in Alaska...
