Re: Picking up a TRD supercharger tommorow!

This is my first post here. I was looking on another forum and got directed here to drool over the supercharger. I would love to hear some dyno specs if you get around to it. Congrats man, that is awesome. I don't know if I'll be able to resist much longer...

ps. What run are y'all talking about on the 23rd? This forum looks like it has a lot of Portland area wheelers. Nice!

The intercooler sits right behind the grill and the install kit includes a new hoodlatch bracket to clear it.

Bricktop, welcome to the forums! Like you and others, all we can do is congregate in front of Bills supercharger and drool while we save every stinking pennies to get one ourselves

The 23rd run is held by NWFJCC group (Northwest FJ Cruiser Club) and there's a load of us that's going. You are welcome to join and also do check out NWFJCC's site and sign up!

p.s. if you do go, you will need to sign a waiver and have a CB

Re: Picking up a TRD supercharger tommorow!

Technically you don't have to have a cb. But radios are required (don't worry if you don't have either, I have several radios and so do others that you could use). But definitely check out nwfjcc.com.

Re: Picking up a TRD supercharger tommorow!

Went to PDX Tuning today, great people!
My Fj dyno'd @ 259 hp and 273 ft/lbs.
That's 79 more horses than their stock '07 TRD and 69 ft/lbs!

They use the Mustang dyno, and call it the heartbreaker, as it gives a lower and truer reading than the Jet dyno.

All who witnessed it were impressed, and added the TRD Supercharger onto the "must have" list.

Will post report when I get it scanned into PC.

That's a monster pile of $$$ for a mere 80 horsies at the wheels. My FJ dyno'd higher than their TRD earlier this year.
