I asked about them here - and was told I needed them on any vehicle that did not have a plate and wasn't registered. I have them on my KTM motorcycle and quad for that reason but not on my FJ/trucks or Bobcat (which gets 100% "off road" use - there are no roads where I'm using it now).

That's interesting. Are there no specific off-road parks in Idaho? The Oregon tag goes to pay for the maintenance of the several we have in the state. At $10 for 2 years, it's dirt cheap...
In California, the regular license plate is good for off-road, it is equivalent to the OHV Green Sticker. I'm sure if they find out they can get extra money like Oregon and Idaho are doing, we'll be tagged with that too. LOL Wait, that's not funny.
Interesting, if your SUV is registered in the state of CO and drives on the road you do not need a OHV tag only if it is not registered for highway use.

There aren't any "off road parks" that I've seen - we have a LOT of Federal/State land that is useable, I can't imagine the need for an off-road park here. What is an off-road park?
