I am a little new to off roading, but have this saturday free to go off roading. I was thinking of going out towards Detroit area but I think there is still alot of snow out there, anyone know where I can go not too far from Salem Oregon for a little off roading? Or point me towards a web site with Oregon trails.
Nevermind, I just noticed the sticky Also, what class is the FJ?
Thanks!

Yeah I saw that post, I ended up going to Detroit Lake area, alot of snow still on the ground, but I did manage to find a few good dirt roads to explore, I just felt I should go to Sand Lake, I am running the stock all terrain tires

Well maybe next time, huh? And by the way, those stock tires would probably be ideal for the sand if ya air-down to about 20-22 lbs. All these bigger traction tires really just dig in and throw sand................stockers would glide more on top of & over the sand instead of into it. Traction really isn't the problem, it's the digging into it that stops you. Just my opinion though.
