Southern Wyoming FJ's.....

Does anyone ever get together for trail runs in Wyoming? I know there are some really good trails around here... I have only lived here for 4 years and would like to find more trails. Can anyone lead me in the right direction?

Keep us informed also, we might be in for a run with you guys. We live in Denver and can run up there. There is someone that lives in Green River and would love to run with us.

Re: Southern Wyoming FJ's.....

If a few locals who know the area better can help us out. Meet and greet might not be a half bad idea....

Re: Southern Wyoming FJ's.....

Finallap,
My sister just moved to Rawlins so I will be getting down there more often. Coincidentally, I did my Master's Thesis field work in the Rawlins Uplift so I know that local area pretty well. On a side note, there are alot of trails north of you (south too, I'm just not familiar with them) and there is a group of guys from Casper who go out pretty regularly http://www.backcountrycrawlers.com/
Hook up with these guys... Oh and the boys from Evolution 4x4 are great and they know their stuff.

Re: Southern Wyoming FJ's.....

That is great!!!! I have seen the Evolution 4x4 shop on my way into Casper. I will have to stop in and see them. Please feel free to PM me if you get into Rawlins and want to meet and greet.... possible plan a trail run. I have been on a few trails south of Rawlins, my tacoma ended up on it's side with 8k worth of damage out by the old fox farms.....

Sorry to hear about your taco... I had an '03 TRD extended cab which I ended up trading in for the FJ. I loved that truck but I couldn't fit the new family additions in it. I will be down in Saratoga for 2 weekends next month for a Search and Rescue class. I will definitely be passing through Rawlins so I will PM you if it looks like I'll have a chance to hang out at all. Oh and if you see a gold '03 extended cab TRD Taco with a matching topper around town, wave - that'd be my sister.
