Re: Metal-Tech Tech Day / Open House

Looks like a great event, but you only gave people 3 days of advanced notice!

ditto on the pics. I want to see them too!

I really like the topics you posted. Would've like to attend if you weren't so far.

Sorry it was only up on this forum a few days in advance. It was up on the NWFJCC board a few weeks out. However we will do it again!

This was officially a NWFJCC event, however it was open to everyone and hosted by Metal-tech.

Unofficial turn out was just 35 FJ Cruisers, one Tacoma and two FZJ80 Landcruisers! All in total about 55+ people. I know we served up 54 hamburgers and 12 deli hot dogs.
Welding demo made 40 lbs of scrap….er works of art steel! (people ranged from age 7 to 40++)
Tire demo = Reseated bead using trail tools, then unseated the bead using trail tools and changed out a valve stem all simulated on the trail.
RTI ramp = Just about every truck ran the ramp!

Huge thanks to the companies that donated to the give away:
ARB
Total Chaos
Toyota Trail Teams
Sway-a-way
Metal-tech
TLCA – Toyota Land Cruiser Association
FJ Cruiser Summit

Looks like a great event. I wish gas was cheaper or the event was closer.

It was fantastic, thanks to Mark and LT! We did have a decent-sized caravan from the greater Seattle area.
