trial is about 15 miles south of South Sister. loops from Todd lake to Tumalo. although we were unable to complete the loop due to lack of chain saw.

I was over there last week, and on the highway coming back from Sisters, just before Tumalo I saw some hill climb/dirt trails along the highway. The area was fenced, but looked like it was well used for wheeling. Is that area open to the public? Heading east, it was on the right side.

yeah, I've seen that area too! not sure what the deal is. may try and check it out this weekend.
