FJ Trail Team, in Redding, CA?

I was driving in my Chevy Tahoe, and I noticed a voodoo blue FJ Cruiser with a trailer that said, "Toyota FJ Cruiser Trail Team" and the car was all the way from Colorado! I can only remember the first three digits of the license plate but it was something like, "850-VMH." Was the trail team just stopping by or is there a place near Redding where off-roaders get together often?
