This is a come one come all run. Total stock to major modded rigs welcome. All experience levels. In fact this is a good run for new folks to run easy lines right next the more experienced taking the more difficult lines.
Bring all safety, survival and recovery gear. Be prepared for the cold!!! We will take a break for lunch. Food and refreshments are your responsibility.
FYI, The campgrounds are closed from what I've seen from DNR.
Where are you seeing that? I just looked at the DNR site and "Elfendahl Pass Staging Area — open year-round, self-contained camping allowed, no reservation required".
The only closure notice I see is about the Overland Trail which is nowhere near where we go.

They have closed the campgrounds (Kamenga & Spillman). I forgot they have now let you stay at the Staging area. You may wanna get there early as the people who used to stay at the 30 or so camp spots can fill the staging area quick not to mention it is a parking lot for day use with lots of bike activity.
If the Staging area is full when you get there you can try just past Goat Ranch rd on the right by the dirtbike track. There are usually a few people who stay there. We have camped at Kamenga about once a month for the last couple years and finding spots was always a challenge if it was nice out.
