I have been going to the Ollalie Lake area for the part 31 years. Backpacking, flyfishing, and now that I have my Black Diamond FJ, the May adventure sounds gret. I will agree with the other members that May 26th you will run into some in the higher elevations. Some may be impassable. Had to stop the car 5 miles from Ollalie on one Memorial Day weekend because of snow. We knew this, had our backpacks, enough provisions for several days and hiked in. The lake was half frozen over. Om my God. What a site!! Not another person around the whole time.
Anyway...I am unterested. Please respond with more info.

Same here!! Also, I have a friend that wants to tag along. No it's not the jeep friend, but a friend with an FJ60 and is ready and waiting to take it out there!

Balls! I just realized that the 12th is the weekend before I and the old lady up and runnoft to get married. Methinks I may well be "otherwise engaged" that weekend doing chores and preparing.

But after the hanging, er, wedding ---- I'm back in full force.

That'd be great to get a 60 out there...........there won' be any taggin' along here, just join in and enjoy the great NW outdoors! I don't mean to speak for the club, but I do believe "all are welcome", always. We aren't exclusive.

MAN! for a second there I thought that there was something I missed out on registering, as I go to Central 4WD. I was thinking there was a giveaway going on. Sorry to steal you're thunder Dean, but Wendy and I will probably get married on the 4th of Aug.
