The passing of a son...

Johnstone

The above is my oldest sons myspace... he was to be 25 this Tuesday...

He served in the military, 18 months in afgan', 18 months in iraq... he left
the service after 4 years to attend college with hopes of re-uping in the
service as an officer... We live in NJ, but after his time in the service he
moved to seatle where he was a security guard while attending college...

Xmas is coming and and we had talked to him last saturday, and we were
getting him a airline ticket to be home for 2 weeks... He was planning to
spend allot of time with his youngest brother who is 10...

but things go wrong sometimes... and can't be explained...

Why am I typing this here, Well, Here is were my friends are...

Ben Passed away sometime this past week, we don't know how or why,
only that he was at home... We got the news when we had the police
get his apartment super to open his pad today to check on him...

I can't even tell ya how great this kid was... But Just know he Was !!!...

Thanks for listening and God Bless (can I say god bless )

PS: If anyone has some information on how one goes about transporting
a loved one home from accros the country, please let us know... I know
we will find out soon enough, but it might be helpful to know a little what
and where befroe hand.... We leave tomorrow morning at 7am for seatle
from NJ... Again... TY...

[edit - 11/22/06] We Have Ben With Us Now....
We will be bringing Him Home Tomorrow !!!

Here is his picture of Him... He wrote on the back of it... "I hate
this picture of me" But, He had it on display in his apartment and
As his Desktop image on is Laptop... ... He always wanted to
appear tough and as he would say, "I am a BIG A$$ MAN !!!"... ...

Remembering the Good Times !!!...

Re: The passing of a son...

Bandi, our prayers are with you and your family. This has to be one of the toughest things that a father has to do. May God ease your pain and give you strength.

You sound very strong. I hope this runs as smoothly as relatively possible for you. Good luck, I'm honored to be part of the group you came to talk about this with.

Re: The passing of a son...

Hire a local pilot from Seattle to transport him. A lot of pilots will do this. I used to fly them here. If the cost if to prohibitive then ask them how, they know. Call any airline.

Bandi...

Nobody should have to experience what you are going through now.

Our condolences to you and your family.

"But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength;
they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run,
and not be weary; and they shall walk and not faint."
