I hate obama, his staff and it makes me sick to my stomach that the majority of Americans support him and his actions. I fear it's only a mater of time till America isn't the land of the free. Thanks for that post.

The system is broken from the top down. Ask why we still pay subities for wool farmers for military surplus yet were not using wool anymore? Its too difficult to end these programs because they are embedded into the system.

Do i think the "war on ______ (fill in the blank)" works. Hell no. But its the desensitizing of the people through media that has forever changed the way we view these. Look back to the 80's and you'll find very few news clips that even used the word "terrorism" and yet now they use it for everything up to and including the failure of Twinkies. The media and corruption from these same sources has promoted this agenda in an effort to line the pockets of those individuals who are most likely to benefit from it.

The comment I made concerning the loss of jobs was told to me by a friend who had heard it from a relative who had been in the DEA for years. he knows that it doesn't work and if we really wanted to use all resources to stomp it out we could. We wont since the same folks who promote the "fear factor" are the same ones taking the bribes on the side.

ToyetiSaurus- I knew there was something I liked about you other than the name you chose. I do own a TV but only to watch my fitness videos. No amount of "useful news" on the "boob tube" will ever make me want to watch it.

There is more informed members on this forum than those in congress and the news anyways. I get my "news" from other sources
I have to admit I bit your name just a touch, I thought, oh man how can i beet that? Then it hit me and I had a moderator change it. Imitation is the greatest form of flattery.

Re: Buy 'em before they're banned!

I'm a FFL and can tell you that All military pattern type rifles, AK, AR, Etc. and high cap mags are just about completely sold out nation wide! Includes manufacturers, dealers, and distributors. All I know of are selling AR related items; but can't get product! "Resupply" by manufacturers in doubt as they can't decide if or how much product to make before a ban goes into effect? Feinstein bill includes not only "manufacture, sale, transfer AND POSESSION, IS INCLUDED, MEANING NO GRANDFATHERING!

The gov't cannot make you destroy or turn over any possession w/out compensation. Look it up, Bill of Rights. This is why the grandfathering was allowed in the 94 ban. And if this does happen, the Dems will lose House control again. History repeats, the panic buying, the rumors, the speculation. Who has the manpower and funding to go door to door?

NY Mayor Cuomo was looking into this and realized that he'd need over $100M.

Hey!

You said, "clip!"

Were they high capacity news clips?

Re: Buy 'em before they're banned!

I went to a large gun show last weekend and made two observations:
1) The place was completely packed.
2) AR type weapons were difficult to find and very expensive,

Afterwards I went to Cabela's. I had the same observations. The gun register was busier then I have ever seen it.

Re: Buy 'em before they're banned!

Hannibal, Bllomberg is rabidly anti gun mayor of NY, Cuomo is dem govenor. Dems lost control of house some time ago: but do control Senate! Majority of law abiding folks would turn over their banned guns, if it also includes posession.......that's what makes them law abiding! Of course severe criminal penalties, if caught is an incentive, too! Would then be illegal to own ANY gun!

Gun stores did initially benefit from this: but we can't get product to sell, so that temporary benefit is now gone. Resupply is not happening either, as gunmakers seem undecided about what to do, grandfathering, etc.?

Video "thinks" they know what to recommend given Clinton ban: but they also admit they don't know what will happen! BTW, those Magpul P mags are good: but those $15 mags recently sold on Gunbroker for $59 ea.!
