If that's true then they better be ready for a fight. I can't see people handing over their guns peacefully (not even the law abiding ones). The criminals will continue to hang on to theirs because they aren't registered.

We're in for some interesting times here in America. Obama and his staff want to destroy this beautiful country and the idiot supporters are in for the ride and will defend him till the end because of their ignorance. This so called gun control to curb violence is nothing more than their way to disarm us. They don't care about crime, they care about the people still having a power over the government. The government was set up not to run the people but the people to run the government. In order to rule over people you have to take the means of a fight away from the people. Once you take the means (guns, selfs defense) away from the people, you take the will to fight away.
On Dec 11th the federal courts strike down Illionios ban on conceal carry. They give the state 180 days to come up with their own law. SOOOO I guess this was the next logical step
