Toyota Motor Corp. is once again leading global auto sales, as the company posted record sales to outpace Gov Motors, the No. 2 automaker, and Volkswagen.
The ONLY thing that slowed them down was, the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster.
Now that you're No. 1 again, CAN WE PLEASE HAVE OUR DAMN DIESEL ENGINE???

As for the diesel, ain't gonna happen. As for who to blame start with the EPA.
A Toyota big wig told me at a FJ Summit a few years back that we would see a soft top FJ before we would ever see a diesel FJ, haven't seen the soft top yet. But I would like to see a diesel powered FJ as well.
But with a modern, powerful and performing diesel. Not the pathetic Diesel engines the Toyotas is South Africa have.
Toyota South Africa has the weakest and worst performing Diesel engines in the market. They last forever but that is because they can't get you anywhere in a hurry.
