I probably have 2/3rds of all the dialogue of the first four movies down word for word. I don't care that he is 'too old' or that the villian/opponent looks very lame. Love underdogs. Rocky is the standard.
Because I have always been a huge Mr T fan, I have watched the
installment so many times I should be ashamed . I even own a "Dead Meat" t-shirt.
Sidenote: Remember in Rocky III when Apollo and Rocky are talking about maybe being 'too old for this' anymore? ... ... 24 years ago.

Yeah, I'm going to see it too. I've seen some guys on this forum make fun of Sly doing another one...if memory serves I saw the words, "Sad" & "Pathetic". But, I must admit that if I'm in the type of shape Sly is in when I turn 60; I would say it's far from Sad or Pathetic. The movie aside, you've got to give the guy credit for being in that good of shape at his age.
I'm still a big fan of IV...love the James Brown intro and then Rocky getting back to the primitive roots while training in Russia. That movie was great in that is really captured the spirit of USA vs. USSR during the height of the Cold War. I don't think today's generation can appreciate the tension that gripped our society during those times, yet that movie signifies everything any proud American hoped for...i.e. the underdog American beating the bigger, stronger Soviet. Kind of like the real life USA hockey team beating them in the Olympics. Classic!

YES...My left foot gets sad if it doesn't have a clutch pedal near by...
These Movies Are Classics! Great Motivators To Kick Up Your Training When Things Get Stale. At 60 Sly is Still In Tremendous Shape ,Although a little bit of "Growth Hormone" and Possibly some Small Dosages of Anabolics are Keeping Him Hard....He's Still Going Strong...Looking Forward to Seeing This 2..

Saw Rocky Balboa tonight - very well done. Much better than Rocky V and a good ending to the Rocky saga.

Did he win? Oh wait, don't tell me. Oh wait again, I doubt you need to see the movie to answer that question.
