On the street coming home tonight, there was a very square VW Bus -sized (but higher up) vintage military vehicle. Really cool but I have no idea what it was. It was old...it sounded aircooled.....it had two vent things in the middle (one on either side at the top), had round taillights with amber turn signals (one piece total). Hardtop. Four door (rear doors not connecting directly to front doors). Any ideas what this thing was?? Not a Land Rover Forward Control or Unimog....

I worked with a guy that had one. Cool as Sh/t. He was a little weird though. One of those guys who bought land in the desert and wanted to build a bunker for Armagedon.

Too f'in weird, I just saw one of these for the first time today too! Except it was topless, like a troop carrier. First thing out of my mouth too was Mog, but I was pretty sure that wasn't it.
There's a guy in town that sells and services Swiss Army vehicles-6 wheel Diesel troop carriers and such. I drool over these things and talk about buying one with one of my buds but every time I mention it to my wife, she gives me 20 good reasons not to. She's right-damn practical CPA's. Sure would be a hoot to drive though
