1200 mile road trip...

Just got back from a road trip to visit the in-laws down in southern California. The FJ drove great. Had it loaded down pretty good and it still went down the road fantastic. My initial calculations tell me I got 22.4 MPG. Saw 13 other FJC's and 4 FJ40's. I even saw an FJ45. Drove through terrible winds over the Cajon pass and north. The truck took it nicely. Even got pushed halfway into another lane from the wind. My wife about had a heart attack.

Anyway, all is good and we're home safe. Enjoyed the in-laws and got to see lots of local attrations and we ate a lot.

Re: 1200 mile road trip...

Average for the whole trip was 65MPH. That's including running around town, going to the beach, etc.
