Re: Fantastic Junkyard Set on Flickr - Great Pics

Excellent link thanks! I used to go to Curboys all the time when I was young for parts. As a matter of fact we used to wheel on their land then stop at the office and pick up anything we broke. What a place. Kinda like "Sandford and Son"

Too bad their closing down.

I love this kind of stuff, I just wish I was close enough to go there and wander around.

I'm going to do just that this weekend. Hopefully there is still a decent amount left. So sad that they are crushing all of these...

Re: Fantastic Junkyard Set on Flickr - Great Pics

When you go there, there is a great place to have a beer and food in the next town over, Wales, called "Teodores". You'd love it. I used to go there all the time (live about half a mile up the road).

Stop by if you get a hankerin for a brew and a burger.

No, didn't even know about it until your post. Glad I caught it. What day you going? Saturday the 27 is the meet in Springfield. I have to stop by and see the carnage at Curboys myself now. And now I got a hankerin for a cold one at Teodores!

I've had this site on my favorites at work for years. If you like seeing old cars/trucks in "I need a complete overhaul" shape, then this might be interesting to you........
