Late 60's to early 70's. My 1980 had a square grill opening between the lights.

I am not sure that that is original equipment. I could be wrong though so don't flame me if I am!

It fits 78 and earlier, but I don't recall any stock headlight trim pieces having Land Cruiser embossed in them. I have been driving my 78 FJ40 since it was new and been looking at other cruisers for the last 29 years. I did see one of these at a Land Cruiser shop in Oregon and they were being sold as replacements.
