M.R.E.'s Meals Ready to Eat. They are the best. You can be lazy... Don't even have to cook them if you like. High in daily value, low in carbs and calories. Most are 400 to 2000 calories each. They have lots of varities to choose from and taste is GREAT! I am so lazy that I keep about 20 of them by the sofa and eat them whenever. I am so lazy that I don't even get up to cook them or through away the empty container they came in. That's what I got kids for. I figure if the military can eat them, I can eat them. In fact mix them with beer they will tast even better. Especialy after having a ruff day of the wind blowing your double wide trailer all over and around the park. Cool thing is haveing an FJ you can hook your mobile home back up to your trailer hitch and just tow your house back your rental spot. Best of all with M.R.E.'s is there is never any dirty dishes to do.
Where can you get M.R.E.'s? I don't know of any place here in Maine where you can buy them. I tend to stick with the fried egg sandwiches when times are tough. Dragon is a pro when it comes to fried egg sandwiches

Don't know about Maine. I buy mine at Emergency Essentials - Emergency Preparedness, Food Storage, Water Storage, 72 Hour Kits, Emergency Kits, Dehydrated Food, Freeze Dried Food, Meals Ready to Eat (MRE), Disaster Preparedness. Best selection, fair prices, and cheep shipping. I forgot to mention I have 2 dogs that do most of the cleaning around the house. 2 kids that help make the mess. 1 wife that *****es at the mess, And a 12 Aut. behind the sofa to help guard the Mess. Hell, I've been knowen to even lick a popsicle stick and dip it into the freeze dried 1% milk and eat it like candy dust. In sticking with the lazyness I even have a 3' high fridge next to the sofa stocked with Corona's so I don't have to get off the sofa and walk to the kitchen for a refill. My sofa is also my bed on the weekends. Once I get home from work Friday, my fat lazy as* sits their until Monday morning 1 hour befor work. At that point I shower and shave and hop in the FJ and go back to work.

Thumbs up Re: Who makes the best TV dinners???

I am a kitchen designer.

I would opt for buying the propane, Boston market is good although any TV dinner has way to much sodium.
The harvest gold and avacado green appliances must go !!! If i can help E-mail me.

Thanks for the offer! The gold appliances ARE on the way out the door! New white one on "stand by" until the cab's. are in. If you know of anyone that would like to buy the 1960's oven, it still works well. Just PM me.

Re: Who makes the best TV dinners???

Just an update..... today is 2 weeks, since the demolition! all the major contractual work is complete!! I Primered the walls in the kitchen last night, will try to paint today! The cabinets are set to be installed this Thursday to weekend! I can't wait for the finish.... i have heard so many horror stories and lengthy time frames, that i am just beyond belief that i can now see the light at the end of this so far short tunnel.
Last night i had lean-cuisines!! they are not so bad, at least the pasta ones! wrig had claim jumper and a lean cuisine! son had left over pizza!
Wrig still has not got any propane! Today since all the work is done i will bring out the crock pot for tonights dinner!
We are going out of town this weekend so hopefully it will be complete when we get back!!! We will post finished pics too!

The Appliances we had were late 50's yellow, and a 70's harvest gold! and will now have white all the way around!!! have been waiting 12 years for this transformation!!!

Re: Who makes the best TV dinners???

Head to our local trader joe's, they have a nice frozen section, with good stuff. Most of the stuff is microwaveable and tastes better than a hungryman.

Re: Who makes the best TV dinners???

OK we saw the demolition pictures. Did you guy ever finish? Still eating TV dinners? Thought about this after the KD thread. Take some pics and show off your new kitchen!
