That one was a simple VHF and UHF. They Don't let me 'play' around in the mud with the EHF stuff.

Thay was a route recon in the Anbar.

Didn't take that route again.

Roger that, saw the UHF. I've set up EHF comms (SMART-T) with the Marines a few times, thats why I asked. I'll leave the forward stuff to you guys and our TACP.

We had one of those as well. Great piece of gear for us low level folks. I met some one else a couple of years ago that had some thing to do with SATCOM. Has been retired from AF for some time now. Congrats on your orders BTW.

US Army 71' to 74', Forward Observer for 155mm M109's with Nuclear capability. 2nd Bn, 78th Field Artillery. Sat on the Checz border for 31 months, waiting to vaporize any Russians who dared to cross!
