Formerly USMC - started out as an infantryman (0311), finished up as a Scout Sniper (8541).

Currently USAF Aircrew Life Support, about to PCS for a special duty gig with AFSOC as a combat aviation advisor.

Hello all. I would like to say greetings, as this is my first post on the forums. just got my FJ 13 March and love it! I felt this was a great post to break my cherry and say hello.

Prior Marine 97 - 04, now flying OH-58D's for the Army.

Greetings,
I served 13 and 1/2 years in the USAF. 1970 to 1983 I was a B-52D, KC135A & Q model aircraft crew chief. My AFSC was a 43171E. I spent 10 and 1/2 years in the Southeast Asian area of the World. Today I still work in the aviation industry for an airline in the great northwest. I would like to thank all my fellow veterans for they're service to this great nation.

A WHOLE long time in the AF here (about 28 years) - still in. Son is a CSAR C-130 pilot - he just returned from Djibouti safe and sound and he likes his dad's ride!

Doing what for 28 years?

AC/MC/HC? Might have refueled my bird before. Where is he stationed Moody? Hurby? Kef? UK? Nellis? or Asia? I loved the CSAR role; it was a blast.

Comon Guys! Present day veterans read this post. Surely we have more FJ'ers that appreciate their fellow Americans preserving the right for us to have silly little habits like this. I guess I should have baited you guys in with a Vodka or Sorority Chick title (no offense to authors or subscribers to those posts) to get your attention!

Did 20 years in the Navy and retired in '98.

5 submarines (3 Boomers and 2 Fast Attacks) 13 Patrols, 1 WestPac and 1 Northern run
1 Sub Tender in Guam
1 shore tour in Charleston, S.C.
And my favorite base name of all FLEASWTRACENPAC (Fleet Anti-Submarine Warfare Training Center Pacific)
