Hey Boston, what did you ever decide about the job offer?

hey,

it was just a phone interview, and they're expecting to get back to people in the next week or so. I'm not sure I could do so much travel though...

Nice!

Bostonian, Those were built 21 miles from my home in England, I took the factory tour a few years back, just before Ford got in there.

Did you find it here or import? I never quite liked sitting on the tank! Land Rover has pedigree same as Toyota. Just look at any expedition type treks and they all seem to be Toyotas and Defenders/Series 3's, really dont see that many disco's of road back home though.

Re: Cleaned the Gray Rover Today - Pics

all original...100%. I'm not going to touch anything except the brakes, frame, bulkhead (firewall).......seals, etc. I'm very happy w/ the way it is pretty much exactly the same as it was the day it was sold.........can't find that much in rovers anymore

Re: Cleaned the Gray Rover Today - Pics

Boston was the beer bottle OEM? Looks like you've got some work to do there my friend. Looks like a fun project though. I'm a contractor and know how old things can be a can of worms but hell my FJ's new and I've already started going through that whole rig!
